On November 17, 2023, with the commencement of the new presidential term, changes were made to the government's organizational structure, and a ministry dedicated to agriculture was established under the name Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Welfare. As a result, developing agriculture as a key economic policy, ensuring food security, and improving animal health and welfare have become important goals of the government.

Mission: To enhance the capabilities of agricultural communities, develop the agricultural sector, and by connecting farmers with markets, increase food security through agricultural products, and sustain the socio-economic progress of communities.
