Representatives from Agro Services and Pesterminators met with the Minister of Agriculture and Animal Welfare, Dr. Maryam Mariya, to discuss the introduction and implementation of biological control methods for pest management in the Maldives.

Held at the Ministry, the consultation marked a significant step toward promoting sustainable and environmentally responsible pest control practices. The Ministry highlighted growing concerns over the spread of plant diseases, which pose a serious risk to native plant species and agricultural productivity.
